And I've never been to a concert. Like...any. I WANT TO (VERY VERY BADLY!!) THOUGH. But someday. I've had opportunities, but...lotsa obstacles. *sigh*

I'm a 28 year old musician/media professional, I first heard UW on the "Hackers" Soundtrack (I still can't hear Kruder and Dorfmeister's "Original Bedroom Rockers" without thinking Cowgirl comes after it). I guess some of the cross-references here would be:

- Audio geek
- Into "old school" electronic (Orbital, Fluke)
- Art geek
- Noise maker of some kind (electronic or otherwise)
- Can listen to Dirty Epic on repeat for half a day

But a lot of that is just me :P

Me, I'm a 24 year old male, bearded (I sort of see a trend here...) ...I run a bookstore in New York and am also a musician (piano/etc).

As for what I see as stereotypical, not sure. But, an anecdote:

When Underworld played New York it was during the iPhone craze where everyone was waiting in line for one of these phones. At the time it was rare to see a friend who had one, and I was amazed to see a ton of these held in the air recording the show in Central Park. It somehow struck me as very telling of the underworld "type" (in what was by no means a negative way).

Hm.

30, Sysadmin in Los Angeles, male, and I have a beard (for now). Interesting. Maybe we should have a poll. Bearded vs. not.

However, I know a fan who is a 30-something female, Mexican, writer/editor. Very much NOT like me.
