ideally, people would vote on what they like
or don't like without influence from others..

however, there are those that MIGHT be
influenced by what others say first..

i think with the small sample here, that
no measures need to be taken..

(i do have a degree in mathematics,
and i always liked statistics)..

anyways, i think the effect is vastly
multiplied when you have a larger population,
and less knowledge of the music..

our set is limited to a rather narrow portion
of the public, and most are knowledgeable
about the music already...so they are probably
less likely to be swayed by what others say
(unless they are relatively new here)..

I don't think this would be fair without putting LBT and P4E up for a vote first. These are albums in my mind, no matter what format they were released in. I agree that a winners poll would be fun though. :)

I think people here are influenced by the current state of the poll. i.e. right now even if they hate Luetin some arent gonna vote for it because of the high number of votes for other songs where they can influence the outcome. If the vote was blind it would be fairer. Right now we have strategic voting.

So is this how you get a name like Negative1? I got an A-level in Maths too specialising in statistics but that was a LOOOOONG time ago. I can see the fascination though.

Unfortunately, since far too many people here are cracked out and voting off Sola Sistim, I just went with Leutin and am saying my piece here.

Strategic voting should be outlawed anyway. It's weak blues. It's anti-democracy.
