Re: Cowgirl Lyric Query
as for "an eraser of love" i think it's meant to be ambiguous, because in the music video it goes from "an eraser of love" to "razer roulette" and "reason" and then "raisin".

Re: Cowgirl Lyric Query
I swear that KH wrote things that were meant to tease the ear... words that intentionally sounded like something else with meaning, while themselves really had no meaning. I mean... you know.... like .... MEANING.....The Mississippi Delta was shinging like a national guitar....
Your rails, your skin, your thin paper wings.... your thin paper wings rattling in the wind.... |
Re: Cowgirl Lyric Query
I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but the lyrics from the Cowgirl video:
http://www.aloha.com/~tabanger/under...girllyrics.jpg Unlike "eraser/erazor" and "i scream/ice cream", it always says "in two" and not "into" or "in too" |
Re: Cowgirl Lyric Query
Not really here to debate but just wanted to say how much I love those lyrics.....your thin paper wings.....hand held candle.....
this is my beatiful dream.....ice cream i scream ice cream i scream so much you know what i mean...........there's just something so timeless about KH's lyrics.....love your work man! by the way it's definately "flying in two":D And now homeless strays makes so much more sense than homeless trees but then it makes sense....not sure if i like it as much then..... |
Re: Cowgirl Lyric Query
Hey is it ..."went and bought a new hat she said.." or is it "went and bought a new head she said" as I've seen it written elsewhere??
