Re: iTunes Festival EP

The ten free downloads seem to be selected by iTunes, as past performances from the festival.
My card here says
Laura Marling
Editors
Oasis
Katherine Jenkins
Paolo Nutini
Foals
Dizzee Rascal
The Temper Trap
Placebo
Imelda May
10 Great past iTunes performances.

Maybe a couple of good tracks amongst that lot...

Not bad for £3.49.

I'll add in Bird 1, Between Stars & Diamond Jigsaw from the recording and have most of the gig in high quality - though I'd prefer to pay UW directly for a full gig download.

Why is the ALAF song on this EP different than the one sung here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RS_rm7DE8Yw

On the youtube video, right off the bat you can tell there was a slip up when he starts singing "the rhythm, the rhythm..." Plus in the video he changes the pitch for a few of those "the rhythm"'s. I was hoping that would be the song I downloaded from itunes.

Were there multiple nights? Am I just confused? Where am I?

The "slip up" is actually a significant skip in the audio of my stream capture. I didn't notice it until I posted the video, but there's about a 3 second audio skip. So the audio you hear in the video up until the end of that skip point (approx 0:46) is actually not the true audio, because it's not sync'd to the start point properly. I had independent audio and video captures, and I sync'd it based on footage later in the video, so I had no idea there was a problem at the beginning of the video.

Regarding the pitch stuff you noticed for "the rhythm"'s, the difference is because Rick mixed down his own vocals (to practically non-existent) in the EP.
