Anyone else had a PM from Serendipity?

Re: Spam
Just banned em. Also AlexModerator. Excellent new nick for an unknown Polish ISP. John The Revelator I can cope with. Alex Moderator sounds a tad off to me.... :p

Re: Spam
Gee, thx. I guess I should have been posted more inaccurate information then my posts wouldn't have been considered spam?
Nothing makes sense anymore. Again. |

Spam: We are working on it. Have patience.
I just got this in my PM box:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y39...g?t=1266729653 The username is AlexAdministrator. I've ignored it thusfar, but this is getting ridiculous— someone who isn't up-to-date on computer technology could think their dirty account is actually being threatened. There needs to be some kind of screening process for new usernames, like "Why do you want to be on dirty.org? What was your first Underworld experience?" This would easily do away with all these spam posters. |
Re: New spam threatening to delete dirty accounts - please ignore, everyone!
Not everyone here likes underworld.

I've switched on email verification for new users, and no users with Admin / Forum / Moderator in. Lets see if it makes any difference. Can ban individual IPs with a plug in or by editing the .htaccess file manually (neither of which I can do).
