My best collector's piece is my copy of "In the belly of St. Paul", signed by Karl with the photo he took and included with it.

I'm not sure where gloyn gets these BBC promos. I'm not too concerned about the actual content of this specific one though, since I have the CD-quality 320 Kbps AAC BBC iPlayer stream of that show.

It looks the same as a bunch of other BBC discs that have gone out over the past 5-6 years:

The discogs listings might be legit, but the seller's use of generic pictures for his auctions - and the the fact that he has sold hundreds or even thousands makes me believe he has a CD printing machine at home. But I may be wrong.

Its a long shot, but does anyone have one of the those Edgeland photo's (I think they were shipped with the 100(?) orders on the site - CD or vinyl), sat filed away collecting dust that you are willing to part with?!

I read an earlier post selling the limited CD but that the photo had been lost which seems a shame...

Hi fellow dirty boys and girls, I have a rare poster up for grabs. It was grabbed off the wall of the kentish town forum on the night of the launch for barking. Its been rolled up since I have had it. There is a mark on it just under the HMV logo a and a couple of very faint brown marks which my camera wont pick up.
I am not going to be able to get this framed and on the wall as I would like and it seems a shame to have it sitting on a shelf, so if anyone is interested in buying it, let me know.

also, interestingly, last month the underworldlive.com store had stocked up on a couple live here now brixton cds and copies of bungalow with stairs 1. selling off old products, perhaps?

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...12/unknown.png

the live here now cds were taken down from the store after i purchased them, so i assume they were the only copies available. however, bungalow with stairs 1 is still listed, although i'm not sure how many are actually available. it's obviously just the cd on its own, but it is there for a great price.

Re: collectors' corner

They've had overstock of the Brixton gigs and the Bungalow CD available for a long time. They recently re-did all the store listings, so they may have just not had enough Brixton copies left to bother relisting them again.

Received what appears to be an early promo cassette of STITI.
It has Confusion the Waitress listed as 'She said'.

I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, though I don't expect any surprises. :)

ok, this is odd.

saw this on the comments on discogs:

for 'confusion the waitress' acetate
https://www.discogs.com/Underworld-C...elease/5080225

this user claims to have it also:
https://www.discogs.com/user/bsimaodo

they only have 2 items listed in their collection.

so do they have a bootleg, or something else.

People put stuff in their collections that they don't actually have. Could have been a misclick too.

That's very true. I do that, if I have an mp3 or a flac recording of the item in question. In most cases, I don't necessarily need (or even want) the actual physical item, but having the music itself is enough for me.

yikes.

i only try to match what is exactly there for my collection.
there are digital versions for some of the releases if they were official.

it throws off other people, when they are trying to ascertain who
actually owns the items.

then again, this is a user submitted database, and they gave me
a lot of grief, because it was web submission, and i didn't own the
item. but i didn't put that i owned it, because that would have
really been confusing to others.

Re: collectors' corner

I owned the original, obviously, that’s my label photo on discogs, sold it to mark3, so in effect he is the one and only owner.

This original acetate was made exclusively for Darren Emerson for the cream separates CD. It is possible that two copies were made, but believe the person I bought it off originally said Darren gave his copy to him. Either way I suspect that Mark74 is Mark3 on here?

Re: collectors' corner

Yes mark3 is mark74 on discogs.

Re: collectors' corner

I've asked this before but hope springs eternal.

Circa release I bought a really rare and massive Beaucoup Fish poster. It's about 40 inches wide. Sadly I didn't take good care of it. It's pretty trashed. I'd be willing to spend quite a lot for one in good condition, suitable for framing. I know the chances of anyone having it are slim, much less parting with it. But just putting that out there!

i know they are cheap, and the collector in me wants them.

but as far as musically, i lost interest in them since the barking album.

i wonder if there will be promos for drift. they would have been out
by now.

There was one promo for Episode 1, but none that I've seen since then.

I imagine there will be some promos when the album comes out, but I'm not sure if they're going to do the traditional Single promotion for it, since they already kind of distributed the singles when they came out over the past year (e.g. "Listen to Their No" has already gotten a lot of rotation on the BBC). And also, they might go straight into the start of Series 2 next year.

Yeah, probably too much, I think. But, there were only 100 made, and the seller's right, I've never really seen a sealed one on the secondary market. There have been zero sold on Discogs. So, if someone really wants one, they have to consider how much they want to pay when the opportunity arises. £200-300 might not be unreasonable.

£100, but these signed ones sold out in less than 24 hours.

Re: collectors' corner

Hmm, would have been out of my price range at that point anyway. Maybe when I'm super-rich I'll get it, as I doubt they'll end up doing a 20th anniversary box of it and I can't cope with having them all in boxes except one!
