Karl told us to look out on ebay and it looks like many of us did. There was no immediate warning apart from that. Of the 20 that went on sale I think at least 12 or 13 went to members of this forum (from looking at the buyer's ebay IDs). Congratulations to you all. |
[bootleg] -> _bootleg_babies_on_vinyl_
this is actually kind of neat..
(even sort of flattering)... but - from the rtsrboard of trade - some of the tracks from bootleg babies project have pressed onto vinyl by a japanese company....of course they could only fit about 45 minutes of each onto each side.... not quite legal, but still pretty cool.. a bootleg of 'bootleg babies'... http://www.cisco-records.co.jp/cgi/t...ail_122424.php later -1 |

Tokyo Live cd's on ebay
from the dirty site:
did you see those tokyo live cds on ebay for £15 each, fixed price? apparently there's more where they came from..... erm, no I didn't see them any idea what the story is anyone? |
Re: Tokyo Live cd's on ebay
the story is that a bunch said cd's were up for sale for 15 squid each, I think they were being sold by someone close to the band (not sure?). They were gona pretty quickly as you might imagine, but maybe there will be more.

Re: Tokyo Live cd's on ebay
ah thanks KoS
I'd been checking ever now and then, must have missed them. I'll keep an eye out and post here if I see them (after I've got mine, of course;) ) |
Re: Tokyo Live cd's on ebay
well - if they were sold via someone related to the band...
why not sell them from the uwlive site? That way... those who don't feel comfortable w/ paypal, can just use their credit cards to buy them... -> and am I the only one who gets at least 4/5 fake paypal emails each week? I signed up for it - discovered that it's like a direct-withdrawl from your savings/checking account, and not a way to pay via credit card... so I didn't fully sign up (never gave any info) ...heard nothing from them for literally 3/4 years and now - tons of phony emails Quote:
