Just got a call from Tower Records (Shibuya, Tokyo Japan) and they said they don't expect the deluxe box set to arrive until early October! It was scheduled to arrive today.
wtf is going on! argggg....

Just got a delivery slip in the door telling me they have a package waiting for me in the local post office. It must be the box set.. seems the wait is over. I guess they were just really really really slow about getting it out to me.

Am I wrong in thinking a pre-order should guarantee an early arrival? Whatever, this has been a horrible experience and now I just hope i have no trouble at the collection office - cant even bring it to my door!

@Dunwho - Still no sign of a delivery to me either - I'll check the postbox when I go home to see if there's a delivery notice. Fingers crossed. It's strange it's taken so long to get from the UK to Ireland though. Regular post normally takes no more than two days to do that!

Just to let you all know I emailed them again and told them that while I had received my package they should really consider being in more contact via the forums and through the website. There is a huge lack of information about everything and people are more anxious as a result. If they were to be more active in updating us on their progress and putting our minds at ease it would go a long way to making the wait that bit more manageable. So I asked them to post something here, anything really.

If I had to guess, I'd say underworld had the lowest bidding contractor, Digital Animal, take care of all of this for them. I doubt the dynamic duo were sitting at a desk filling out mailer forms.

This is likely a show of what Digital Animal is capable of, so take a note.

QFT. For some strange reason I also assumed that ordering from the source more than a month in advance and paying US$14 for shipping would get it to me somewhere in the vicinity of the release date. Silly me.

Delivery of boxset - 9/20!

Seems extra strange that I haven't received it when others in LA have. If it's not here today I'll bug Digital Animal.
