Seconded! The guy's just amazingly talented... the songs are all sorts of styles, with witty lyrics. Not sure if they're on the DVD's disk, but he wrote a song called "Don't Put Marbles in your Nose" that has to be heard to be believed. Also, a rock opera about Franz Kafka. Just hilarious! The show wasn't bad, either...lotta heart for a cartoon.

the songs are ALL on one cd. so yes, that does include kafka... even the hot dog song.

Ah shit! Karl seems to have been in Birmingham of late. Lovely grainy photo of our very own New Street station (which is utterly fucking horrible in general) up today. Should have PM'd me buddy! I would have made tea and all sorts of good shit!

the whole album is pretty good in that "just make a decent tune" way, but that's probably the best cut next to mandarine girl.

you should maybe look for ascii disko's new one "alias" (Baphomet is fantastic)
or ricardo villalobos' "achso" ep
