I'm eager to hear this. I like that Bannstyle is working into a regular set list frequency as well dirty epic popping up.

Sounds fantastic. I heard Banstyle in February at the Roundhouse and I still get shivers when I hear the opening notes on my Live Here Now CD of the night. Please let them play Dirty Epic again tonight! 2 hours 18, absolutely brilliant - I can't wait!

When do we think the mp3's will be ready?

Re: Brixton Acadamy Friday Oct 31st

Yeah it does say hours after set for mp3s? But then again not really clear how many hours. This sounds oddly familiar...................Like work!

I've been trying not to check too compulsively, but I'd say we may have to wait a bit.

I use the station every day to go up to the City, so I thought why not have that name!!!

Have been reading the forums for ages but just haven't registered/posted before.

Am really looking forward to tonight's show, only another 12 hours to go........

Some notes: It wasnt Lenny Penne, it was Bamboo with Lenny Penne "vision" lyrics. Karl played guitar over Banstyle. Massive balloons were released during NUXX. I mean MASSIVE. They didnt play ALAF. They played Peach Tree, and Glam Bucket. So the correct tracklist is:

1. crocodile
2. spoonman
3. moaner
4. dirty epic
5. beautiful burnout
6. peach tree
7. strumpet
8. two months off
9. you do scribble
10. glam bucket
11. banstyle
12. push upstairs
13. born slippy .nuxx
14. cowgirl
15. bamboo (with lenny penne lyrics)
16. jumbo

I thought i heard some 'to heal' chords but that might have just been the start of beautiful burnout... anyone else?

As for bamboo, yeah i agree, like the webcast version, but with more squelchy bits. And I was moaning to the misses about a lack of underworld mash ups only just recently, so pleased to hear that

That was a great show! First time for me to hear Dirty Epic live, and strumpet sounded pretty good. No ALAF sadly but we'll probably hear that tonight.
Strangely enough Darren wasn't there, which meant that there wasn't much if any mixing between tracks. But there were some nice ambient interludes as usual.
I took a long movie of the balloon drop during Nuxx which was a lot of fun. Will post pics and movies somewhere when i get home on monday.

you did hear To Heal @BB. There was no Darren last night (maybe he was sick? he was at Brighton last week) and Rick was _very_ busy so I dont think he had time for jams! it was a more song based set with stops/starts but it was still a great set. very smooth.

DIRTY EPIC!!!!!! Boys - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

It was an AWESOME night, quite surprised (but very pleased) at the length of the set. Thought it was a very good version of Spoonman, slighty different from the version played at the Roundhouse.

Looking forward to doing it all again tonight and seeing what other nice surprises the boys have in store for us.:D

Oh yeah.... and where was Darren Price?
Rick and Karl had to do it all on their own.
