I also hope those tracks will be released in some digital format. CD > lossless downloads > lossy downloads as an option.
I don't want to bother with analog vinyl. It may be nice for DJ's and the big format artwork is lovely, but without a decent turntable you are stuck.
When i started collecting Underworld i got a vinyl copy of Change the Weather in good condition and i wanted to record it to my computer (with a preamp). I had to discover that the turntable of my father was not working. After some time i managed to repair it but it was useless. It produced a 50 hz hum that would not go away.
After that i swore i would not pay a cent for vinyl again. :(

One of the new mixes (Buick Project Remix 2 of Play Pig) is on Beatport at the moment. They do .wav downloads.

Since they're Underworld I really want them all but I mainly want JAL. But like I said, sold out. :cry:

Also, anyone know why it says that Play Pig - Buck Project Remix isn't out until Sept. 18th? Some of you said you just received all 5.

a friend who works in hmv uk said they are coming out individually over here.it appears the japs are expected to buy the lot all in one go.

The order of these 12''s was cancelled by the japan hmv without informing me where is the problem. I was really looking forward to these vinyls. I ordere these vinyls first day when they were available to order.
Im paying with my credit card on another sites without any problems.
I have never experienced something like this. Anyone here with bad luck on japan hmv?

After my order they sent me an e-mail that the shipping charges were higher than the estimate, and I had to respond to affirm that I still wanted it, or the order would be automatically canceled. I responded to confirm, and then they shipped my order. Did you get an e-mail like that and miss it, maybe?

Got the JAL 12 today and if im being honest, i think i could have spend 3.99 on something else more deserving then 2 remixs that sound very similar.

yeah, you could have downloaded the files and bought something else. perhaps a happy meal at mcdonalds.

i'm happy to be getting the physical products in my hand, even with the high quality audio files of all the tracks sitting on my HD. money well spent, as far as i'm concerned.

got the email from hmv.jp today that my order has shipped!

if you put 12^ vinyl in an oven on a low heat for 2 hours they slowly shrink to the size of cd's so you can play em in a normal cd player :D

thats the schedule as far as i know, 1 x 12" per week

so one set of mixes of play pig will be out first then the others follow the week after....

this is in the UK (japan had all 5 at once)

verbal, i think they'll ship that rec. the same time regardless. my order said that too and it shipped complete.

i took some pics of all my happy records sitting in my happy living room and rotating on my happy turntable. it makes me happy.

When I ordered them on Tuesday it said one wasn't available till 9/18 and another till 9/25. Received shipping confirmation yesterday! :cool:

On Japan Hmv they send all vinyls, but in UK there is scheduled releasing dates.
