Any chance you've ripped this track? I'd really love to add it to my digital collection as that's what most of my UW collection is. I don't really have any rare things - aside from the Singles and Albums, alls I got is the 100 Days Off CD Sampler - pretty cool - but it's just an EP with like 6 tracks from the full album. On 2 trips to Santa Barbara - they've got a Music store in the downtown strip - I've come across a gem each time - happy - last July I came across the Dark & Long CD single and then in December I came across the Show Some Emotion CD Single - can't wait till my next trip - maybe I'll find something to add to my small CD collection.

It's like a drug addiction... I remember before I got married when I had much much more time on my hands making trips to the record stores searching for certain items... those were the days before the internet took the fun away... however, I've found items that had been really hard to find, so it's bittersweet...

There's alot of UW stuff I don't have... hmmm, darn you 15min version of Leutin you're going to get me in trouble....

Now Playing:
"Underworld - Live In Cologne '99 - Dark Train"

... later this afternoon after having a nice lunch....

eBay sure has a ton of UW stuff - 7 pages worth. A lot of it was just the usual singles and all the albums - but I came across some nice things... I think I'm going to have to scan my music collection, get a box, rip some tracks, back up some discs, buy some cases (as I've thrown all mine out thanks to caselogic), and make a trip to Amoeba. I'm going to have to be able to cover my CC bill that the wife will surely stumble upon... thank all you who purchase used CD's... Help support the music junkie - his drug hurts nobody.

Now Playing:
"UW - Live In Cologne '99 - Jumbo" - Love this live version!

... sorry to make this so long - but it's been the last post on this thread and things just keep happing to me...

So, here's 2 new items I get to add to my collection once I receive them...
Just got them on eBay - tomorrow I may get some more stuff...

:D I just had to get the Beaucoup Fish MD - it's so neat and small...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

 This is unbelievable - a little more than I'd like to spend... but they put all the UW albums on one disc for me - now how nice is that...

What's added in the extra few minutes of Luetin? Something new and different, or an extended fade in/out? As with the 9:00 "Jumbo", i can't get too excited with extended fades. But when there are new bits (as with "Push Upstairs" and "Nuxx" on 1992-2002), it's so cool!

Ah, the "Moaner" single! Worth it for the Relentless Legs mix:) (though i always hide the jewel case when i play it...don't want anyone to see Batman and Robin on my desk!)

Which version of 92-02 might you be speaking of? I've got the US release and us usual with US releases - No extras included. I'm hunting down the Japanese import... I've got to find it soon before the wife closes my cc account. That would be tragic...

Now as for Luetin - I'm sure over 8min of extra track time would allot for something different than the original track. Even if it's just 8 more minutes of music - it would be worth it for me to get it. Someone please let me know where I can find this... please!

now playing - "Born Slippy NUXX - March 20,1999 Tilburg"

i also have the US release...there are differences, sort of subtle, with some track lengths versus the LP editions. But the biggest differences that stand out for me are on "Push Upstairs" and "Born Slippy Nuxx"

The LP version of "Push" is ~4:30. The Anthology version is 6 min. and change. The latter has some extended "Aughh"-ing by Karl and some persistent drum claps. It's overall harder sounding.

I dunno the length of the Anthology "Nuxx", but suffice it to say that the unaccompanied drums at the end are different than the other mixes, including some stops that will def. catch your attention, esp. after hearing the original so much! The Anthology, i think, also cuts out the bleepy synth that appears in the 11:35 Trainspotting version.

The old forum had a thread about the differences on the Anthology. There are probably others, but like i say, most are just longer fades (e.g. "Moaner" does it's triangle and synthbass warble for a longer time).

Re: collectors' corner

I got the Australian DoublePlays STITI & BF CD set today...

2 x cd's which basically are

the Australian V2 version of STITI (marketed and distributed by festival Mushroom Records) cat number 337242

&

the Australian V2 version of BF (marketed and distributed by festival Mushroom Records) cat number 337202

the slip case has the mis-labeled Track 4: 'Medley: STITI' (which is just banstyle/sappys curry)

the two CD's come in a slip case with the cat number: 338862

it looks like an official V2 'bundle' - although the scanned image of the STITI album on the box is pretty poor quality, but all the label and copywrite info looks ok on the sleeves and discs...
i think this is a genuine re-packaged bundle set - well worth getting cheap if you can... (if you don't already have it)

there are NO NEW TRACKS or EXCLUSIVES on these CD's ;)
