I just wanted to drop a quick note that Darren re-issued Under the Flightpath earlier this year. It's not strictly the same, he slowed down the BPM a tad.

I don't think a week goes by where the olympic remix of Rez doesn't shuffle itself into my ears. I wonder if there's some rights issue with releasing those remixes. Like perhaps they were commissioned with money from the olympics?

Man, "Everybody Jack" was such a banger in the context of a live interlude, which at the time, Pricey had quite a few of them, and they were a nice injection of new sounds in the UW sets. Not sure the studio cut quite lives up, though - kind of one-groove and repetitive/annoying vocal loop (yeah, sure, electronic music is repetitive).

The early "Between Stars" demo/oddity thing, is quite fun. Lots of skippy/slappy percussion, and the instrumental arpeggiated pattern is wonderful to hear in this way. Big build, epic sound. The "everybody cran" early vocals are something else, too!

If you're talking about in the pre-show jam, it starts off with "Lenny Penne (Darren Price Drums Remix)" (available on his SoundCloud and YouTube), and then goes into "Crocodile (Oliver Huntemann Remix)", so both are released.

All these Darren Price tracks and mixes on Sound Cloud are nice... But I wish they would be properly released! And if physical releases are too much to ask, or simply not financially viable, well, then a digital release would be still very welcome! I would be happy to purchase lossless files of, for instance, the full-length remixes Darren Price and High Contrast made for the 2012 Olympics and to date only surfaced in drastically short and DJ-mixed form.

I don't know if you saw it, but Darren posted 4 of the Olympic remixes on his SoundCloud, in full and unmixed, including two that were previously unreleased (Cherry Pie was unused; Deep Arch was used in the TV broadcast, but not included on the album). The only unmixed Darren Price remix he hasn't released is the Dirty Epic one. And none of the High Contrast solo remixes have been released separately (Minneapolis, Crocodile, and Rez).

If you subscribe to SoundCloud Go+, you can stream the tracks at 256 Kbps AAC, which is near-lossless, and with a little effort, you can rip them too.

This is the same mash-up that was published during Drift Series 1. The difference in runtime is that the BPM is higher in the Drift version (without pitch shift).

That's fantastic, high energy track with trademark stream from Karl. Definitely takes an odd ambient turn in the last third (unfinished ideas merged together, or intentional?
