Sorry but this whole single seems like they're trying to fail. Both mixes are shit. How is there not an extended PVD full on trance mix? Not that I want to hear that but seems like they could have at least tried to get it played on some dancefloors. What about that overhyped prick Deadmau5? Lots of idiots like his music and his style would fit Diamond Jigsaw.

I agree with you, Matt. Purposes of remixes are to broaden diversity, to display more aspects of a song, to bring the song to a wider audience (and, hence, to sell it more often). I'm always happy about a diverse array of remixes. It just struck me that I don't like ANY of the remixes of Jiamond Digsaw. The underlying problem is that I don't like the original itself, so I seem to have deluded myself into hoping that I would certainly find one of the remixes entertaining.

Oh, if only I were.

(Thanks for the link, I feel honoured to confused with Evan. I am wary of excessive use of the attribute 'hilarious' but that rant surely requires it. This Evan guy seems like a delightfully misanthropic fella who appreciates an ironic mustache.)

Careful, son. What do you want, trance in general OR early-90s trance trance OR full-on specifically? Or even some pseudo-innovative neo full-on with a fair amount of bleep patterns (might be indicated by existing Diamond Jigsaw remixes)? Watch that attitude, boy. I feel like this is a bit like the "Jumbo" single, or worse, the deleted "Twist" release.
Released into a void.

Has "Diamond Jigsaw" received any airplay? I live in the USA, so none of the tracks from "Barking" did, but at least there was a certain amount of indie buzz around "Scribble" and "Always Loved a Film".

I really do enjoy the album and welcome a single if there's something new from UW to hear, but not a string of remixes by whatever semi-trendy producer of the month tacks a bit of Jigsaw vocals over his/her crap track.

hmmm... more like Bruce Lee single. The Jumbo release is actually my favorite (of when UW stopped remixing their own tracks), i dig all of the tracks, and love the Jedi's mixes.

mogaui is the best remix on their, but these remixes are not that great because DJ is not a very re mixable song, original will always be the best.....
