yes, the trailer looks very very cool!!!

but, it needs a gripping story that hopefully
wont copy the first one too much..

did anyone place the pc game tron 2.0?

i'm actually still playing it (Shoot me! i know i'm behind the times)..

it was supposed to be a prelude to a movie too....and it's pretty
good i think, in its implentation... the graphics were outstanding
for its time..

Someone mashed up Beat It and the new trailer.

Also Steve Jobs should be in this movie:

I've been chomping on the bit for this movie since 2008's Comicon when the same "trailer" was shown and someone recorded it and posted it on youtube. But it was orignally called just TR2N and was going to be out in 2011.

Now from this year's Comicon, the best news about this movie is that it is coming out in Summer 2010 and in Digital 3D.

Sweet Ass Sweet.
It's like I'm 8 years old again.

i think it will be quite exciting that joseph kosinski is directing it. he is a very talented 3D artist and if you look at his earlier work (student pieces and commercial work) you'll notice that he is more of a sleek futuristic kind of storyteller. he is heavily inspired by Stanley Kubrick. If you notice the similarity of Bridges' home in the trailer and to that room dave grew old in at the end of 2001: a space odyssey.

the detail in the faces is also quite cool...how everything is hi-res sharp sleek yet basic 3D and their faces still look like TV's with bad signals..awesome :)

but no..daft punk's music would fuck it up. this film needs orchestral instruments...not television rules the nation.

I bought this game atleast 2yrs ago and have installed it on 3 macs and I've yet to start playing it. Don't feel so bad.

I must have been about the same age when my parents took me and my younger brother to see it in the theater.

Anyone know what the ambient track shown in the trailer when Jeff Bridges stands up and walks toward the window? I'm hoping it'll be on the soundtrack - the bass in beautiful.

I'm dying in anticipation - A whole year, ugh! Well, atleast I'm seeing underworld on saturday, Woo Hoo!!!

...end of line.
