Hey BLD,

thanks for the warm welcome!
I´ve seen U-world 3-4 years ago and it was -well nearly -mind blowing

it seems like that uw wants to get rid of a "techno-band" image, that`s o.k. but the way of becoming "portishead-ish" it`s rather diffcult for me.
(yes, i`ve found the new album boring, too)

UW need big stages for Karls "freak-Show" :) the sound and the visuals are not made for little clubs.

I love the band. still even when a small gap is between us. :)

Stunning pics and thanks for the great writeup, DaddyAdv... love the pic of karl over darren's (i think) shoulder. also the one where his arms are mega blurry - great work ;)
glad you enjoyed your first (of many i hope) underworld gigs :)

Thanks for your comments!

My sister, who's isn't into electronic music at all, commented the pics like this:
"Well, I guess it sounded like the usual bangbang, but it looks lovely colorful!" :D

@Badger: No, there were only selling the records form Cologne, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Brussels. (Amsterdam was sold out quickly)

@badger: as far as I know, liveherenow didn't record the Hamburg show. That's what it also says on their website.

Hopefully we'll find something someday on the underworldlive.com - at least there used to be some live gigs. I cannot find them at the moment though...

It was of course BS Original... sorry :o

It was exactly like DaddyAdv... & even better if possible. I absolutely loved Köln, but Hamburg was so great also... & not even speaking about Berlin... :)

Such a pity that there was no liveherenow cds in Hamburg & Berlin

So very cool to meet you all, Thorsten, Alex, Ulf & Mark ;)

At the end I managed to get a copy of the setlist from a very nice lighting guy! :D

Looks like they wanted to play Mo Move and Mmm... Skyscraper.

I've always wondered why the date on the setlists are so wonky.

The guy who had to stand in the front and hold Karl's spotlight, judging by the colours? :D
