yeah! it's totally got that 80s cop buddy thing going on. i love that stuff.

at one point Danny Glover makes a call with a mobile phone that's almost as big as a boombox and looks like it weighs 20 lbs.

very classy action movie. not a big fan of car chases, which was heavy in this one. (yeah the highway thing in reloaded was pretty epic, though), so ronin tended to get stuck but well acted.

the bourne identity was pretty well done and entertaining now that I think about it. I liked mission impossible too, so i guess I'm partial to these kinds of spi angles on action movies.

I thought Ronin was bleah. Well done but just not that engaging. Dont' know, maybe I should see it again.

I hate True Lies.

ronin is okay, but i think ronin is pretentious personally. although they do have some okay twists and stuff with all the IRA stuff going on...

i think matrix 1 is better than the others, but numbre 2 is def. close, whereas number 3 closely resembles feces. number 1 just has a simplicity about it compared to number two. it's not about twists or turns or whatever, it is more of distopian feel to it compared to number 2 where it was all jumbled

ummmm

top gun?

Doesn't really qualify as a pure action film, but I really thought the action sequences of Spiderman 2 were brilliantly realized. The fight on the clock tower especially. Just awesome.

The anime Appleseed also has some brilliant sequences. Kicks all types of ass.
