i think its a film score and should be judged with the film really.to judge the music against a track written for someones artist album is a bit daft.this music was written to go with the images and emotions of the action on the screen.

Well yeah mmm skyscraper, that's pretty common.
Musicians usually have bits and bobs of music around them that don't seem appropriate for anything then suddenly (boom) they remember something they have that captures the feeling of whatever they apply it to. |

well in this case I think it was not like that, but rather the director had approached them about the project and they probably talked about what kind of film it was gonna be, what kind of feeling and atmosphere it was gonna have ... and then they started writing the music before the shooting had started. It was not like they already had this music lying about just waiting for the film to come along.

Funny how the track that captured his attention the most was EssGee, a track which a lot of people here found to be the weakest on the album. |
