There's a bunch of the UNDERWORLD: 'KITELESS'- A TOMATO PROJECT videos on eBay at the moment. Something tells me they might not be totally legit, as the seller is selling 10 of them, but who knows - maybe he just found a load of them in his attic :)

Footwear Repairs is also available new and used from several sellers on Amazon marketplace. I picked one up there the other day brand-new, sealed, for $5.

i actually just came to wondering wether these would be in HD quality. i suppose most of the music videos to maybe have been shot on 16mm, but they could very well have been filmed with a typical tv broadcast camera which is significantly less quality than HD (if i remember right).... and some of the ee footage seems to be shot with pro camcorders (just guys on stage running around?), which is also not quite HD quality...

too bad... just footwear repairs NEEDS to get put on dvd

you're absoolutely right. Since none of EE was filmed in HD resolution, there's really no way to release it as a HD version in the future even.

I bought a copy from that ongoing auction. Cassette and case seem to be genuine (Dirty Epic isn't listed). I haven't yet watched it, though, since I don't have a VHS player.

Yeah, absolutely it's worth it. It has all their music videos up through Moaner. Yeah, and it can be had rather cheaply.

ok,
i know most people don't have vhs players..

but i'm sure you can find one cheaply,
and a someone (or service) with a conversion
to dvd can be done...maybe not with the greatest
quality..

just for reference....i did a svcd capture
of the 'footwear repairs' by passing it from vhs->8mm->
capture board at 720x480..

and have been using that to watch it..

there's a lot of grain and noise, and due to a lot
of quick transitions, some parts get pretty blocky.
however, this was about 8 years ago...i'm sure a
newer encode, would do a much better job, especially
with newer codes .h264, .divx etc..

the sound quality was pretty good, but i'm sure
that could be re-encoded, except for the 'extra
improv bit's between some videos..
