saw this last night and I don't regret it. Very enjoyable all the way trough. Great action and they was a nice focus on the team working together on the various missions.

i liked it well enough too. i thought the opening sequence was pretty cool, but then i didn't like that it gave away a lot of what was going to happen over the next hour-plus. i mean, how can there be any tension as to whether tom cruise can stop seymour hoffman from kidnapping his wife when you already know that hoffman is going to be successful?

The thing I liked about the opening was that knowing something like this was coming created a really thick feeling of tension through the whole movie for me. In fact, I felt more tense in this movie than I think I have in any other action movie I've ever seen. Not until the credits rolled did I feel like, "okay, now I can relax..." Definitely the best of the three in my opinion, and a very entertaining movie overall.

that's a really good bet on why i was so tense too. i thought it was great, and the only of the three that i'd like to watch again

(other than the bike chase scene, to check out the race bike to dirk bick transition again, and the scene with the dove, in mi2)

i also think it was cool how they did the face switching/mask thing in mi3, cause after mi2, i was like WTF! to how many different mask switches there were with no explanation. this time there was and it made sense
