Are we sure about his age? I thought he was born in 1960, and Rick in 1956... that would put Karl at 46.

well its definitley May 10th and i was told yesterday that it was 1957...only KH can confirm this, but it seems about right i think...

maybe the only way to tell is cut him in half and count his rings...

well according to my website history page, i had it at 1961, but was corrected just yesterday that it was 1957...and May 10th

but that may be the mix up...maybe thats Rick's Birth year,,,

anyway...however old he is....happy birthday for tomorrow...

and let us know how old you are...whatever it is you don't act or look that old ;)

I would happily wish karl and rick (and the darrens) Happy Birthday every day cos of the sheer joy and pleasure they have brought, and continue to do so, to my life.

If it is karl's 2morrow, then wot a coincidence - my mum is going to be 83, and she is still bouncy.

well...if any of you have been reading my Freur thread...

Simon Davies the then manager of Freur in 1985, wrote back to the person sending me some rare stuff, and on the 6th August 1985, and i quote from the letter:

"You asked for the boys Birthdays. Karl's is 10th May; Rick's 25th May; Alfie's 6th December; Bryn's 30th June and Chris Bell 7 September and of course they wouldn't mind recieving cards"

so no actual years, but the days are correct...

I do also have a copy of a transcript of a telephone call between my correspondant and KH himself (dated 12/85) and in it he does confirm his birth year is "Not 1960.."

but

"1957"

i'm not gonna divulge anything else, as its private to a degree, nothing that personal, but this piece of info isn't that sensitve really, its just a date of birth...and is confirmed by the man himself (unless he was lying to impress ;) )
