not wanting to stand on any part of this argument, but don't people generally start detesting bands / artists who become popular...this happened with Dido, i recall...

plenty of people like James Clunt, like plenty of people like Moldplay, then there are plenty of people who dislike them in equal amounts as well...we should just let them be really...

let them make their insipid music...just don't diss them if you're not doing well yourself, mogwai

shut up matt. the good people at mogwai are merely objective observers of music and its varied stars. any accusation to jealousy is missing the point on their superb and astute critique of mr. blunt.

though to be fair, i thought they picked the wrong side on the whole "blur vs. oasis" debacle way back.
