i dont "know" that.

all i know is that
1. jumbo is stupidly overrated to last this long
2. cups is going to win, and KOS is coming in second, which is mildly depressing

as for push, dont how you cant like that evil little bass lurking around corners near you.

You know, maybe this should have been brought up many rounds ago, but if the same dirties are voting in these Survivor polls as submitted info to Bigscreensatellite's end-of-2005 poll, shouldn't the ultimate winners from each album be already determined?

As for where we're at with the Beaucoup poll... these tracks have been played so much live that it's difficult to call any of them weak. For me, Cups captures perfectly the mood of the LP, and the big change after 8 minutes is clutch. Most of the other remaining tracks are sort of one-paced (i.e. same samples and beats pretty much throughout).

well once the poll's are done, i.e after AHDO (we're not doing EE & the RRP's are we?), we'll take a look, but it's looking pretty similar to how the voting went for my poll, seeing as Juanita was the most popular track in my poll...and it won thru on the STITI vote off

And... when it comes up against the winners of the each of the other polls, its gonna wipe the floor with them i reckon... but we'll see...

i think the most interesting thing about these votes is not necessarily what the winner is, is which track do you vote off, when two of your fav tracks come head to head...i mean i can see two of my favs off this album battling it out right now, and i don't want either to go...but i think we're gonna lose one of them...unless there's a PU surge....

hmm... these two are awfully close. i hope there isn't a tie. it usually starts out with all the votes being really close and then there's a clear loser. this is not the case this time 'round.

I love King of Snake. Not so much on the album, but it's undeniably huge when played live -- gets everyone moving their asses off. Sure, nonsensical lyrics, kinda repetitive. but it's pure genious for a dance track. "fire and a hand between us x20" pure bliss. I just don't see myself voting KoS out anytime soon, even if we're supposed to vote solely on album presentation. just my two cents (saw some hate for KoS and had to step in...)

Heck, yes! Karl always seems ready to pass out after the fastpaced acapella repetition of "fire in hand between us", etc (see the sweaty-dancy goodness on EE!) but he always manages to belt out "Come on SNAKE!" when the beats kick back in!

See, this is what i meant in my post above: "Push", "Jumbo", "Moaner", "KoS', and even "Kittens" have such strong live renditions and good vibes attached to them, it's hard to vote off any of them. But then, we are voting for favorite album track, and i must admit i only get chills listening to "Cups" and "KoS" at home on the headphones.

I'm completely baffled about the # of votes for Moaner. That is easily one of the greatest hard techno tracks ever written. Such raw energy.....
