This is getting painful again.

Banstyle/Sappy's Curry is gorgeous

But less gorgeous than the othee two.

You are the weakest link - goodbye! :(

Juanita got my vote, just don't like the vocal on it and probably never will do. Save Banstyle!

Pearls Girl is rockin, sure, but maybe having heard it so many times makes it easier to dismiss. I maintain that "Banstyle" and particularly the "Sappys Curry" is the overlooked gem of the album.

Ah hell, I was afraid this would happen. I'm going for "Pearls Girl," of course. "Banstyle" is amazing. As I said before, from a purely musical standpoint, I think it's the band's best track ever. There's just so many great things in it. For instance, the way those little guitar bits crop up in the first half. They would have sounded harsh if they weren't buried so low in the mix, so they just provide a bit of shade to contrast with the smooth keyboards. And then there's the totally unexpected way it goes into the second half and the keyboards make room for the guitar. The sound on that guitar, too, is utterly mind-blowing. It's a kind of romantic vaguely Spanish-sounding melancholy, but also a bit cold. And then the way it builds up again to crescendo, and of course, the way Karl whispers the lines, and the freaky outro with the things that sound like "malfunctioning woodwinds" as someone described it once. Oh, man. Come on, guys. "Pearls Girl" barely even has any forward movement.

I want Banstyle to win it all. Death to PG.

Hmm, Juanita is probably essentially a better track but has been overlistened... Banstyle is at least fresh, these days I would listen to it over Juanita. So I'm voting Juanita... but this means not that much really ;)
