Yeah, I don't think UW are involved in the production at all. Just a guest spot by Karl.

So, there's apparently a music video of this coming out, and the director, Alex Grazioli, uploaded a rough cut of it to his Vimeo channel, but apparently forgot to make it private, so Google indexed it.

Unfortunately, it is private now, and I don't know if anyone actually saw it or saved it. But besides revealing the existence of a video, it also provided the track title: "WORLD"

So- i've seen a couple of times around this forum and on youtube (weird) that there was tension in the band between R&K. Is there any evidence to even spread such rumors?

It's not that i believe it- i'm just curious why this is the go to reaction.

It's no secret. They've talked about it in several interviews that there's been tension and conflict between them at various times in the past, but that they've committed to sticking it out and keeping the band together.

I think the current split simply has to do with Rick's current workload. Since the release of Barking, he's been almost exclusively doing work for Danny Boyle, going from Frankenstein, to the Olympics, to Trance. That's probably left a lot less time and attention to be able to focus on Underworld collaborations. Karl has contributed some to the projects, but it's mostly been Rick. So to fill his time, I think Karl has focused on his art and art exhibitions, and now his solo album.

But as they've said in the interviews, I think UW is still planning on sticking together, and they'll continue to put stuff out when the schedule lines up. I think the fact that they are playing shows just a month before Karl's solo album release and solo tour supports that.

Trawled through the source code for a link to the video file but with no luck... already tried all those video-downloading sites but they wouldn't work since it's password protected... any of the tech-savvier members on here able to find a workaround? It'd be neat to have the track a little bit before it comes out, especially accompanied by a "rough cut" of the video (bland though it may be)!
