These feel weirdly arbitrary... the Collection hits you with a bunch of odd tracks - collaboration type stuff that ISN'T on the new Anthology, then the Anthology goes to 3 discs when it could have just been done with no overlap with the previous one spanned over 2 discs... the first 2 discs feel arbitrary, swapping what - 4 songs off? Odd.

I'll buy them both, to be sure, but I still find them odd... LOL

HMV Japan has more detail for "Collection" and artwork for both...

So, some interesting things from the HMV pages. First of all, it looks like both will be released early in Japan on Beat Records (wonder why not Traffic?) on Dec. 7 (or the 11th, according to Beat).

Secondly, the interesting tracks on A Collection:

10. Underworld / Dark and Long (Dark Train) 2011 edit (2011)
11. Underworld / Mmm Skyscraper I Love you 2011 edit (2011)
14. Underworld / Rez 2011 edit (2011)
16. Underworld / Moaner (2008)

Now, I wonder if "2011 edit" means remix like NUXX 2003?

Other items of note on A Collection:
Cowgirl Live (2000) is probably from Everything, Everything
Beebop Hurry would be the first time available unmixed.
King of Snake is probably unmixed with Shudder. That version was previously only available on the Japan single CD, and a few promo 12". Might be interesting to some people.

On The Anthology:
Parc Live (2005) is probably just the same as what appeared on The Bells The Bells then.

i wonder why "the big meat show' is on there but "can u feel me?", "organ" and the longer version of "river of bass" are absent? maybe this is some kind of a preliminary tracklist as it seems to be kind of a weird compilation.

also it seems to me that it would be better to have a new order "substance" approach— for the most part, if it's on an album it doesn't get put on the anthology.

...reissue, repackage, repackage... double pack with a photograph, extra track and a tacky badge...

hoping there will be some minor 2011 tweaks here or there on either of these releases. i'm sold on the artwork alone. :D
