i did some investigation after i posted this... this flyer of sorts seems to be an 'unofficial' one. none of its acts has been confirmed :P

if it turns to be an official one - HELL I'M SO GOING TO BE THERE (lies, but i would love to be there)

These bogus line-ups appear every year. I'm still hopeful for UW this year tho'. 2003 was the last time. Now or never.

guys - for shame on not knowing who Cut Copy are...

I found out about them THROUGH THIS MESSAGE BOARD years ago!!!!

and I HOPE TO GOD THAT THIS IS A FAKE LINE UP.... just because there's absolutely no way I could go... seeing as I'm all the way over in Glasgow

Cut Copy rule. They were pretty great live too. Their 2nd album is the best (thanks to Tim Goldsworthy) but the first is good too. The next one is shaping up to be weird and disappointing as far as what I can hear on their multiple part documentary videos they've posted.

Just looked them up. Can't say I've heard any of the names (except "associated act" Creedence Clearwater Revival) before. No song comes to mind and no album cover rings a bell. But then, I hadn't been born/didn't actively listen to music when they had their big success. Also, I've never really been into Rock music, except Krautrock and a little Prog perhaps.

EDIT: Similar sentiments regarding Roxy Music, although they seem a bit more familiar somehow.

ok, at least you know prog. but the cars are just so omnipresent i don't know how anyone could have not heard of them.
