after listening to the Radio1 set from Maida Vale (and liking it), and reading about the recent UK gig, I'm a little apprehensive for the NYC show. Is it really going to be that exact same setlist, practically in order?

Haha. Oh I'll enjoy it I'm sure. Just hard to picture them playing a predetermined set. Hasn't happened the other ten times I've seen them. I was hoping this was just festival the festival lineup.

Ok, so same setlist again. But hey, it flows so well, and i'm digging Downpipe live more and more. Also nice to have a pretty well equalized radio session...sounds crisp and the vocals have just the right amount of reverb.

Still - wonder if on some upcoming gigs they'll change up the set? A little Juanita or Spikee, perhaps?

Or, if they ever closed with "Moon in Water", that would approach Jumbo bliss.
