A good movie throughout.

I wanted to see some scenes, somehow of Bale speaking in the Patrick Bateman voice.

As someone else had already mentioned, it was good to see Scary Gary play a nice, calm, restrained person, doing good.

The first two Batman films rate a bit higher for me, but this one is right up there. One thing this film was lacking was a strong piece of music. Throughout the film there was really no identifiable piece of music that was comparable to the work of Danny Elfman did on the first two films.

Best. Superhero. Movie. Evar! :)

Seriously, this was a fantastic film. I've seen it twice already, and I want to see it again. Bale is perfect as Batman, Michael Cane as Alfred is pure genius, Dr. Crane was great, Liam Neeson was great, Morgan Freeman was a joy to watch, but Katie Holmes... She seemed rather weak for the role, but she didn't distract too much from the movie, so it's all right. I can't wait for the next one, and I think Jim Carrey would make a wicked Joker (yes, I know he already played the Riddler, but he's better suited for the Joker).

Yeah! There was no Batdance song or Partyman playing in the film.

I scoffed at the previews, figuring the Batman franchise was beyond the grave. I was thoroughly impressed with how they reinvented it, sans the nintendo costumes and without Ahnuld belching out "Destroy the heroes!" and other one-liners so bad the writers needed to be taken back to the woodshed.

I think I might go see this one again...top-notch entertainment. I especially enjoyed it since Marvel finally got off their asses and got their comics the royal treatment in the movie studios...comics that are all about super-human powers. Batman, with *just* the tools that an ordinary guy would have (minus the bajillionmillion dollars, of course) proved that it is still possible to make a great movie and not have the mysterious ability to engulf yourself in flames and fly around to do so.

Having said that, I'm looking forward to FF.

And I agree with a previous post which suggested pulling the camera back during those action scenes. I could only say "well I THINK somebody is getting their ass handed to them" but had to wait for the dust to settle, really.

Man, I would love to see this in IMAX. Too bad there isn't one near me, though.
