excellent! Pitchshifting and stoptiming up front, then delving into the deep psychodelia of yesteryear (a la "Private Pychodelic Reel" and "The Sunshine Underground").

If they keep the vocalists off, this could be an amazing, reaffirming album.

Yes, this has grabbed my attention more than anything they've done since... whatever the album with Star Guitar on was. It's been so long since I gave a shit about them that I'm surprised they're doing something that could be quite interesting.

I totally agree with you. There's like mmmmaybe 4 songs I've really liked since that album, and even the newer songs that I like are still only "about as good" as what I liked on previous releases
