I believe the problem is that the FB is updated by different people on behalf of uw and so the updates dont always sound the same. i wonder how this happens? does someone complain or did someone at facebook decide for themselves? Anyway, its a bit shit that youre at their mercy.

I'd say that if FB was quick in resolving this matter, that it would be a huge positive for them. Just imagine if there was a fake Underworld listing shedding false information? I'm going to guess that someone(s) reported it.

Hopefully it gets resolved fast though.

EDIT: Oh, communications. I never would have guessed that.

yeah this whole thing is a bit funny actually
uw (yannick mostly) just playing around with getting the name out and linking to things and fb going "this isnt how band PR works..."

all they really need to do is post on uwlive about it. official site complains about being called unofficial on fb, email the link to FB, ding.

found out yesterday it is insultingly difficult to wrangle an email address to contact them.
wound up just flagging the group as miscategorized and told them they've wrongly categorized the band page as 'fake', directed them to the site, and would they please act like professionals about this now.

dont think that'll do much good.
