Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
The site is down and not working....this is either very very bad.... or very very good....
they never said they will be closing the site for a period of time as they usually do when they are changing things... but it could be that they are adding something new? maybe? perhaps? Either way im sure things will be back to normal soooooooooon |
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
Sometimes it just goes down for a while. Probably when aNt trips on the power cord after a night out.
|
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
Yea my bad... havnt slept in days.. and too much coke.....a-cola.... makes you jump t conclusions at times.
|
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
Wow! That's a surprise!
Quoting ABC's Lexicon of Love I mean. I doubt a better POP record was recorded during the 80's (excluding the output of the plastic-nosed one of course). If you aint never bothered, then I thoroughly recommend it. It's good in the car and then you don't have to look at the cover. Talking of the cover. Martin Fry is wearing a metallic shiny jacket I believe...Hmmm |
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
What are Karl and Rick doing with that lovely teddy??? Looks like some sort-of awful electronic experimentation!

Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
I just noticed they haven't done a radio show since December, any news on that?
|
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
The March one was postponed until a later date TBD. With the touring, work on the album, and Pure Scenius coming up, it might be a while though. Who knows, they could squeeze one in though.

Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
A bit late, but: Van harte gefeliciteerd Karl :)
|
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
Happy Belated birthday indeed Karl.
Here's hoping that the show here in Toronto in August provides adequate reason to celebrate! 2 of my friends will be sharing a birthday that night & I am rallying a huge contingent to see the long overdue return. Fingers crossed and begging for a massive 3+ hour epic of a show. |
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
you don't see a chain that friendly very often.

Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread

The chain thanks. Anybody notice that the book they ordered copies of today was called "The Floating World" and that the Tokyo performance of Simple Distinctive was subtitled "Floating Worlds"? |

...a while back i remember reading something karl said about his love of japanese art and how he read a lot about it in books as a child/young artist... and its clear to see the influence of monochromatic caligraphy in the Tomato Art group works and interest in typography... |

http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...ead.php?t=6393 The Floating World is a book by John Warwicker that's been delayed since like 2004. For a while, there was a promo movie for the book on the Tomato site, and the background music was "Simple Distinctive". |

dark and long train and a smile tretched allover my face. one of those moments to share energy with all
and in compliance with the ongoing topic, the preview of the book looks incredibly good. the content and volume more than justifies the price |
Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread
Wouldnt mind knowing what some of that advice Mike was giving to the artists he is working with in Africa.. I'm always afraid im not going to be able to protect my music, and im conflicted between wanting it to be heard and not wanting it to be stolen...
...ill probably never know haha anybody got any ideas? |

So, are "Diamond Jigsaw" and "Between Stars" new UW tunes or things they've been listening to? Or are they old tunes renamed. Questions questions!
