Boris/Michio Kurihara - Rainbow OR You Laughed Like A Watermark. The contrast of calm, rythmic, poppy, groovy hypnotic pop with searing guitar solos with a guitar tone that sounds like being put on the lectric chair really does it for me. WOW! :cool:

Ricardo Villalobos - Perc and Drums, from the new Fabric release.
Unlike a lot of people that do Fabric sets, Villalobos decided to do one with all his own material, and he is on good form here. This particular track does exactly what it says on the tin, and is predominantly percussion and drums, with the odd squeak and crunch. Minimaliscious. :D |

David Gilmour -- Echoes (from his new DVD 'Remember that Night? Live at Royal Albert Hall')
Man is it great to here this one again. In fact the whole DVD is spectacular. David Bowie does guest vocals for 'Arnold Layne' (Syd would be proud) and also 'Comfortably Numb'. There are two versions of the latter song on the DVD along with Astronomy Domine, Fat Old Sun and Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Gimour's voice and guitar are strong as ever. --Jason |
