It's a really fantastic review, and I have to publicly apologize to holden for sitting on it for so long. I've always enjoyed his perspective and insight into the music in his forum posts, so I knew he would write a good review when I asked. He did a great job churning it out in quick fashion last November when the album released, but for various reasons including procrastination, I never got around to publishing it. So, I made sure it at least got out there for the reissue this weekend, and I'm sorry again, holden.

The quality in general is good. Not cheap... but they were certainly trying to bring this in at an affordable price. Perhaps most importantly, the box itself is sturdy. The cardsleeves are simple. The perfect-bound book is nice.

The cardsleeves are all single. None are gatefolds.

Are the cd images look different to the box cds?
No - the artwork on the CDs is the same as the v1 boxset.

What is the content of the book - is it the same as the big book?
Not exactly. The book design has been reformatted and simplified for the smaller pages. The new book is centered around the lyrics, credits and notes about the recording process. Missing are the iPhone screens and video production notes.
