Re: 'Pizza For Eggs' thread
I was hoping to learn more Welsh on "Ancient Phat Farm Coat".;) I had a great time repeating the lessons with my friends when we were snookered. I hope that sample reappears if there's a proper CD/12" release of the song.

But the emergence of the new APFC out of "Flatz" is pure bliss, too! After a month of listening to Lovely Broken Thing (and loving it), i'm really getting into the more-downtempo, guitar and keys of Pizza For Eggs. They're both wonderful in my opinion...can't wait for what direction the River Runs next...:) Holden |
Re: 'Pizza For Eggs' thread
I LOVED the welsh lesson. :D
"Dullen - notice how it is pronounced - Thomas" etc... Was really fun. |
Re: 'Pizza For Eggs' thread
This one is very very good. I LOVE "back in the fears"
Thank you guys. Stefano |
Re: 'Pizza For Eggs' thread
I think this is one of the most amazing Underworld releases I've heard in a long time. Richard and Karl do it again.
It gets utterly beautiful at about 14:16 in… reminds me a bit of Little Speaker off A Hundred Days Off. |

Re: 'Pizza For Eggs' thread
Now that I've given it plenty of listens to sink in, I think Play Pig is one of my favourite Underworld tracks post-Beaucoup Fish. I just love the mood of it, the lyrics and Karl's way of singing them.

Pearl's Girl is weak? Banstyle/Sappy's Curry is weak? Surely, you jest. |
Re: 'Pizza For Eggs' thread
STITI is the best start-to-finish UW album...period.
IMHO, of course :) The b-sides on the pearl's girl EP are equally amazing. In fact, that's what Pizza for Eggs reminds me of--the ambient stuff on the PG EP. |
