Speaking of shirts, my shirt that came with the Oblivion with Bells fancy edition has been shrunk due to a evil dryer mishap involving my son and a cat.

Anyone know where I can get that same shirt, size XL?

That's one of the new ones in the shop. Unfortunately, it's only available in Men's Small. Looks like you might be SOL, and I never saw that one sold at the shows (only the women's baby doll version).

It's close, but not quite the same.
The super fun fun version of OWB came with a slightly different version of the shirt that's on the website now.

The uber-edition shirt had the font on the upper left side of the chest. If anybody has one they want to sell, let me know. I miss that shirt.

NOT THIS ONE.

Oh yeah. (I don't wear mine that much.)

Well, then, I've never seen that one for sale anywhere, except with the CD.

Bummer, that's what I feared. Well, if you ever see one, let me know.
Maybe the shop will have some new shirts up soon. One can only hope.

HA! I got the year of EW too, but I think that came from LiveNation. When you would proceed through the checkout at their site they offer you a complimentary subscription which I initially declined. About 8 weeks later in October, EW started arriving at my apt. Now as the subscription is due to expire I'm inundated with direct mailings urging me to renew.

I too was confused. It took a phone call and waiting on hold before confirming that it was complimentary and my card hadn't been charged by the people at LiveNation.

I'm pretty sure Karl means "Born Slippery". That's my friends' favorite song.

I still have a polaroid cam somewhere. perhaps I should look for some film at the local store.
I've seen amazing tricks with polaroids where they got the chemical layer of the paper and put it on other photopaper. Looks great.
And back when this kind of film was new, my dad somehow fixed a pack of polaroid film to the back of a (I think I remember even a glassplate) bellows voigtlander like this (not this model) http://www.thecamerasite.net/03_Fold...nder-Plate.jpg Large apertures for DOF and Landscape shots somehow gave rather good results.
The fun of waiting for the result has never been equaled in photography again.
No youngsters, digital is not the same trill.

Peter Gabriel's third album - the cover artwork was produced by taking polaroid pics and then manipulating them before they were fully developed (I don't truly understand the technique) to create the "melting" look.

It is such a shame that his truly amazing, yet expensive, photo process is now essentially dead. Oh well

And now we know where the hefty LiveNation ticket fees went to. We got Entertainment Weekly for one year!

New Sections
Audio
Art
Video

All have mutliple sections: This Week, Last Week, Other Weeks

Video has a hand full of vids, art has some of the BOJ and Audio says coming soon & Test.

Could this be the return of the Archive, finally. And new stuff to be posted weekly. Gigs, Unreleased, etc......

Foaming at mouth, fingers tingle..........

TheBang 09-26-2008 09:07 PM

Re: Underworldlive version 3.0 thread

Sounds like the Archive to me. Yay!!

The diary archives look cool.

Can't wait for the other sections to start getting filled in.

Edit: AAAND they're gone. Actually, they're still there, but the links on the front page are gone. Everything was "Coming Soon" anyway, except for the diary archives. I didn't see any content like nosajmunson did.

Yeah, looks like they took it back down very shortly after I posted it.
Under the audio section there wasn't anything, it just said "test. test, test" over and over again. But it had tabbed sections for This week, last week, and more.

Under the videos it had Ring Road, Ring Road Version, The Balloon Drop and 2 others I can't remember.

Hope it comes back soon.............

i preordered em. so happy.

point of interest that have probably been mentioned already:
1) in Firefox, the 'add to cart' link doesn't actually take you to your cart, nor is there a way to get to your cart from this page: http://underworldlive.com/shop.html

Just to let you all know:

1. All UW/LHN CD orders will now be processed and dispatched by underworldlive.com and our fulfillment partner.

2. The Brixton CDs will not be available to purchase at the venue, only at uwive.com

Hope that helps :)

I hope I can learn to revel in the joys of winter the same way Karl does. I am very much of the "wears out its welcome by January" school.

I shall take a leaf from your book ;) and give it a try...

If they don't, someone should definitely ask next live radio show.

Today's photo made me think of Singing in the Rain, especially Rick's outstretched arms.

It seems like the new tracks would be addressed before the next radioshow, just my guess.
