Well... I have to say that yes, we were definitely very easy to find in Cocoon.

Yeah, but I had a horrible 14hr bus trip which arrived 3 hours late. Though I had the details about Nachtleben in my pocket, Cocoon was my first and only stop in Frankfurt. Didn't know who to look out for at Cocoon since I've never met any of you guys before. Next time, maybe ;)

i wouldnt count on that. UW tends not to use old music on new albums. Moaner seems to be the ONLY exception and that wasnt really old when it was added to BF. Biro was written before AHDO and it would be sorta strange to see that on a new album 5+ years later.

i don't know. the song is still evolving. there's percussion in that wasn't present in the original version. i'd say their playing it def. hints at that being a song they're fond of and are considering for the next album. the way i see it, they've got a nice selection of tracks that have been born out of playing live and evolved on stage. Globe, Always Loved a Film, Biro the Leggy, All These Things...i may be forgetting one or two here, but those are the best, most complete sounding tunes they've got that have not seen a proper release. it wouldn't surprise me to see Biro on the next album.

I dunno. I guess it would just be weird to pick up a new UW album and hear 4 or 5 tracks on it that we've already heard. I'm sure they'd all make fantastic tracks (although Biro isn't my fave of the new lot; ALAF on the other hand... yum) but I'd just be surprised by a 5 yr old track on the album. True though, it has been evolving ever since Electraglide 2000.

Just went back and listened to the Eglide2000 version. Still a great track!

i think we will hear biro in some form on the new album.r/k have said in interviews in the past that they stop and start with tracks and that they sometimes use parts and ideas that have been floating around the studio for years.
i think what we are seeing is the normal album recording process going on but this time a little more in public?
to the general public all the tracks will be new,its only a small percentage of fans that will be aware of how tracks have developed over the past few years.i find this quite interesting.

i agree jose m, this is especially so with the invention of the internet. i truly hope biro the leggy makes it to the new album, definately one of my favorite underworld tracks of all time.
