hmm, somehow I've made it 20 years without realizing that there's two different lengths of born slippy. I notice that the 8:31 is the one they've decided to include on the "second toughest" reissue, disappointingly. Is the 8:57 only available on that one "pearl's girl" single?

Yea - I also didn't realize till now that there were two different lengths of Born Slippy

damn.

Now... a younger me would immediately start to try and track down that Pearls Girl single...
do I really need to hear that extra 26 seconds?

It's not drastically different, pretty much the only difference is that the last 30 seconds of drum loop goes on twice as long.
