They played those tracks throughout 1998 and 1999 live shows before the release of the album.

Underworld released Kittens pre-album as an MP3 if I remember correctly.

I remember hearing Jumbo live in NYC before BF was released. I called my friend and said "I don't know what its called, but 'sugar water' was on the big screens a lot."

speaking of promo stuff from the BF era...

I remember having an mp3 from a 'promo cassette version' of Beaucoup Fish, where the sample at the end of KOS* was actually over the intro of "Winjer"

Is that how the track is on every version of the BF cassette - or was it unique to a specific promo?


*"roll up news paper, set it on fire" (etc etc)

:D I have those gummy fish / dolphins somewhere - or rather, they turned into black pulp years ago. Should have kept them in the freezer, I guess ... :p
