Ha oh dear... well best concentrate on the shell then and forget the background. Looks very cool! Good stuff

doing it a bit of a disservice, to be honest; it's an incredibly picturesque little town - feels very unspoilt for a seaside resort...

scallops to you, too!

Do we have any photographers in the house?

I'm a film-sort, myself: while I love a lot of the work I see done with digital cameras these days (oh, the quality!) I've always found myself yearning for my old, old Canonet QL-17 when shooting film these days.

Oh, dear - these boards won't let me post images directly. Sigh! In any case:

Share yours? Or some beautiful photographs you've seen, lately?

Nice work! Since you're a local you should also put up some of your stuff here. I check it weekly.

Hey, thanks for the link! Melbourne's architecture is so wonderful - so many buildings and places I've been meaning to go to and photograph properly, so little time! I've got a few friends who are into breaking into abandoned buildings and going down drains, stuff like that, so I've been thinking of joining them at some point. Let me dig up some links for you at some point - a guy I know ended up in the abandoned dental hospital in Parkville, and some of the things they found and shot there? Absolutely amazing...
