i hope this is a sign of things to cme at their concerts though, being able to get the deck recording on cd after, or best case off of underworldlive.com

Because Danielle has to post all these by hand and she's only a wee girl and cant carry 200 envelopes to the post office :p. She'd be there hours sending them all to different places ;). Plus, this gives an opportunity for people who missed it the chance to put some time aside and make sure they get one next time. They might simply not have 200 left. When theyre gone, theyre gone.

Whew!

Those that do have it, how do you compare it to other live bootlegs and Everything, Everything?

Sigh....missed again. I like the idea of an auction name that means nothing though. Will try again next week....

Well, this is so far the only high-quality 3 hour live recording there is. And since this is directly from the soundboard the quality is very good indeed. Of course, EE was a fully produced and mastered album so that may sound superior, but it's only about an hour long. EE is more polished (no mistakes), there are a couple of mistakes in this show to remind you that it's actually live :)

Can someone who already has one of these tell me if these are these silver pressed CDs or burned CD-ROMs?

i hate to be the negative person here, but whats to stop the same people from buying them each release?

i guess i just hate how convoluted everything is now. could have been so simple but instead, we have to jump through hoops to get listens to this stuff. this isnt the way it used to be.

what's convoluted?
it was so fuckin' straightforward that shit was gone in an hour 15.
it's simple. 50 now, take a break, sell another 50 later with an obscure number just for dirty folk. granted *some* non-members will be there to take those precious few, but that's what an advance warning and link-providing gets you. remember when this was exclusive to those who were there? remember that they decided to start selling them when ebay prices went past 200, and then went and *organized* selling an extra 100?
nothing's stopping nobody, but you think of a system where people could actually be stopped. a PM system means that everyone who's watching this will just create BS registrations. a dirty-only event does the same thing...

just get on the freakin' ball already...

convoluted is a system where we have to declare via a poll IF we are going to buy the item, then wait 3 weeks to find out a date (no time mind you) when the items are going to be released on a third party site, then have to check the forums again to find out they were released at 5am and that they are in fact, all gone.

simple is a system where you click a link on Dirty or UWlive, and purchase the cds. No guess work, no waiting and hoping that you hit refresh quick enough or stayed up all night.
