i use to subscribe to Time and sports illustrated but never had time to read those weekly magazines and it was cluttering the place.

Currently I am subscribed to:
Scientific American (this is probably one of the best mags out there)
National Geographic Travel (pretty solid, I used to be a Travel Agent so...)
FHM (I know, I talk all sorts of trash about everything in this magazine, but a co-worker gave me the subscription for free. I would never pay for it!)
Bidoun (Middle East Arts and Culture Magazine; Awesome, this past issue was all about Dubai. Unfortunately, it comes out only like twice a year or so, and is $10 a pop, but it is thick, the pages are glossy, the art is super modern, and it is all around cool. it even has recipe's in it! You can pick it up at Borders. Broaden your mind and check it out.)

Edge
The most mature and readable of all the videogame magazines.
I stopped buying that. They lost the plot a bit, and the new design was ming - especially the font :(

Ally: Raz didnt say that Edge was immature. Just that they'd lost the plot. Didn't even mention which websites either.
One of my reasons for not reading Edge is cos it costs at least £7-£8 over here on import. The design does leave a lot to be desired sometimes also.

What? I said I wasn't meaning anything by it - what I do mean though, is that I've yet to find an online gaming publication worthy of reading..

I used to subscribe to Nest, but it shut down last Fall so I don't any more. Still haven't read the final issue, as I'm in denial of it ending so I don't want there to not be anymore to read. Which I know is silly.
I used to read all the trashy weeklies on my lunch breaks when I worked at Barnes and Noble [Us, People, etc.] and then the usually not worth it music/entertainment assortment [Rolling Stone, Spin, Q, Mojo, Entertainment Weekly, plus the ever fantastic Fangoria], but don't work there anymore, so I don't read em. Can't say I feel that I'm missing much, though I did have to track EW down a few weeks ago for the Golden Girls article., then a few weeks later for the Nip/Tuck one. http://www.dirty.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif
Take care,
James
