were tomato responsible for this campaign (which i found whilst trawling my Underworld cuttings):

its just its not listed as a company they did work for on the tomato website...

any ideas anyone???

It's certainly possible. You'll notice the project history on Tomato's site is rather sparse and incomplete for stuff prior to the late 90's.

After reading your Foster's Ice post I viewed joethelion's post (immediately above yours) discussing the release of The Floating World. Check out preview spread #11... looks like it might be the original photo used to produce the Foster's ad way back when, in particular the two crushed cans at the upper right.

Maybe, except the Foster's stuff is from the mid to late-80's. You can tell by the Mac System 6 dialog boxes and palettes. (Also, all this stuff Matt has is from the Freur-ish era.)

And I think all the work in The Floating World is from this decade.
