Over the past few days, some of the Live Here Now albums have started selling out, so if there were any you wanted, you might want to get them now:

Also, the shirts are selling out, and I'm sure the Tour Book will be gone soon too (the socks and pins are already gone):

OH! That sucks... I was waiting to buy the last few I needed - of which (OF COURSE) the two sold out are a part of... MAN that sucks! Wish the "low quantities" indicator from the LHN site had been kept...

Damn, I only need the 28th/29th Roundhouse Feb 08 shows, but one is gone now.

To anyone else who has the rest, how do these two gigs measure up?

Yeah - Brussels is my big "can't believe I missed it" too - if anyone here has an extra copy (by any chance) - PM me... would LOVE to get my hands on one... *sigh*

Köln is gone now too.

Once there gone, is a *shock* possibility of putting them on the RTSR tracker? *shock*

TheBang
02-12-2009, 05:25 PM
Hm, I'm inclined to say no. RTSR's never been about commercially released material, live or not, in print or out.

as much as i'd like to just have it, i dont think the trackers that appropriate either.
even tho it's pretty likely, it's no promise this is the only print run, and it's still a commercial release instead of the usual bootleg/tv/radio.

i made my choice, i had a budget to keep, buuuuuuuut damn it

edit: eff it im getting amsterdam. i saw little speaker live years ago and i'd like to see what it is now. plus kittens, spikee, globe, and spoonman make a sweet setlist overall

edit2; oh snap that was the last one. jeeeez.
goddamn did i want koln though. augh

TheBang

I'm just guessing, but maybe they did a smaller print run on the second wave, based on the sales for the first wave.

Also, who knows, maybe the inventory count online isn't completely accurate and they still have one or two of the sold-outs still lying around. It couldn't hurt to ask. sales@underworldlive.com

I *DID* ask and got the update that the stock is replenished - just checked, and BINGO - maybe I won't delay this time? [smirk]

Sorted! LHN collection complete.
I'd like to think that maybe I'll be more selective if there's another round of these on the next tour...but I know myself too well. We all have our vices I guess!
Thanks industri for pinging HQ.

have to warn you, the setlist on uwlive.com isn't always congruent with what was actually played that night. Amsterdam didn't get spoonman and spikee was just over a minute long as an intro to KoS :)!

btw: Yeey on the new stock :D!

I ordered the Brussels recording. I want to buy one more, and I am looking at Rotterdam and London (29/02/08). How is the performances for Air Towel and MMM Skyscraper?

Also, when did Globe release? Early on? Or is that a new track? Can someone tell me about it?

Edit: Well, according to the discogs site, the London show I mentioned doesn't have Skyscraper. :( Can anyone tell me how Juanita is on that London show? I guess I'll get two more of these. I'm gonna get Rotterdam, and then I might get the London show (29/02/08) for Juanita if that performances is good (looking to you guys for input). Or I might get another one of these.

How does Juanita Brussels stack up to Juanita London? How is Banstyle from the London show on 28/02/08? And do any of these recordings have a really good performance of MMM Skyscraper? Thanks for any help. :)

2007-10-18 London is the only LHN recording that has Skyscraper.

Globe is the working title for Holding the Moth.

Air Towel wasn't really played at 2008-02-29 London. It was mostly Autotrader with a few Air Towel loops thrown on top.

But it still sounded amazing having come off the back off Confusion and Cowgirl!

The 3rd Roundhouse show did have Skyscraper on the setlist, but it was dropped.

The Roundhouses are excellent, though... if you have at least 2 of them you have a pretty good collection of rare tracks being played live alongside the newer ones.

Air Towel isn't really played in the London show it is at, but it is played at Rotterdam, right? I'm looking to get that one because it looks good, especially with Air Towel and Deep Arch.

TheBang
02-25-2009, 03:13 AM
Yup, Air Towel is played in full at Rotterdam

TheBang

Well, who knows if they just need to update the stock count at the Shop or not, but Rotterdam is now showing as Sold Out.

In the London show that has Twist/Juanita as one track, how much of Jaunita do they play live, and is it a pretty good live version of Jaunita? I might buy that live recording if the version of Jaunita is pretty good.

Do they only play the first part of the song, or all three parts?

Juanita is only about 9:30 long (which is short for Juanita). It doesn't include Kiteless, and is kinda lackluster all around (weak vocoder effects). For better Juanita's, I'd go with 2005-11-25 Electraglide or 2005-07-17 Heineken Music Hall.

Twist is also rather shortened, at 5:30.

Only recorded Twist on the LHN CD's though isn't it?

TheBang
03-25-2009, 05:21 AM
That is correct, although there have been other, better soundboards for Twist over the years, like 2005 Sophia, 2002 Creamfields, 2002 Lowlands, 2002 ILT, to name a few.
