In addition to new material by Underworld (of course ;)), what artists' upcoming albums are you most looking forward to hearing?
If there's a date on the horizon, good! Share it. If it's a wishful pipe dream, well, share and dream on.

For me, looking forward to supposedly-almost-finished LPs by:
Way Out West
The Prodigy
Hybrid
Franz Ferdinand (1/27) - i heard it's supposed to be more dancey?:p
Depeche Mode (4/20)

and though it's more a long shot:
Peter Gabriel (will this be the year for I/O?)
Orbital (new record after their summer festival reunion?)

Here's some scheduled release dates for the near-term:

Looking forward to new releases by:
Hybrid
Trifonic
Goldmund
Tycho

It seems like I never know about new albums from some of my favorite artists until they just one day appear out of nowhere. I wish there was a giant master list of weekly releases for every artist everywhere. I hate how certain websites only cater to certain types of music.

Interesting list, also becaues I don't know all the names you mention.

About Royksopp, I'm really curious about the new album and hope it's going to be better than The Understanding. I loved their first album and their remixes are AMAZING, but I didn't really care about the second album. I hope they return with a really nice one.
Curious about Martyn as well, heard some cool stuff from him.
To me, when I first heard Trentemoller I thought it was great, but after a while I guess "the novelty" wore off. It's still good, but it doesn't hit me the way it used to do. The first two times I saw him live was great as well, but after that it got really same-y.
Gui Boratto's live sets are really good. I'm actually seeing him spin (or play) in February, so I guess I can expect some new stuff.

Yeah, just heard about the Royksopp 3rd LP today! Add that to my list. I'm with you, Leon - "Melody AM" had such great atmosphere, the second one seemed kind of forced and a bit too uptempo by comparison.

Along those lines, i wish Lemon Kelly would get back together and release something this year :o

Maybe this'll be the year for a new Yellow Magic Orchestra release, everything is in the cards why can't it just happen already?

Whatever The Fall release this year, they're always good.

Also, the new Dan Deacon release, his stuff gets better every year, got really high hopes for this one...

I share you impression about Trentemoller. Even when it was released, it was "great", but more because he was able to make various electronic tunes with class than for another reason.

Gui Boratto's new one is now titled and scheduled: Take My Breath Away, released march 23rd.

Curious about an Aeroplane album as well.

I thought Tim Exile was on Warp now? Must be a split.

Shitmat is fucking ace with his creative sample heavy mix of bootmash rave and wonky gabba! Very nice bloke as well.

Venetian Snares - well, that aint a surprise really, all his stuff is awesome, hope he tours round my part of the world again.

That's not the title i heard for the next Fanu album. Looking forward to it, though i'd been a bit disappointed by what little I've heard off the myspace.

Harmonic 313, very much looking forward to that. Love that he's been hanging around Sydney playing some dubstep meets drum'n bass dj sets.

Massive Attack, Underworld, hmm, could be a long wait.

Can we really expect new Zero dB already? That'd be mighty sweet.

Some say it's cheesy, but I'm also excited to see some activity from Adam Freeland. Don't know whether that'll result in an album of Adam Freeland material or live band Freeland material. either would be nice, though I'd prefer band Freeland album.

Any news on this? Mansun's Six is one of my all-time favorites. Its one of those albums that revealed itself extremely slowly over time. wonderful production. great lyrics. fine musicianship.

Your completely right, Six is one of the best albums ever made. Our generations 'Dark side Of The moon'.

Paul Draper is on the verge of releasing new material, there was supposed to be a new song over xmas but must be delayed!
If you go to http://www.pauldraper.info/
sign up to the mailing list and you will be one of the first to recieve a new song when he releases it!

Cant wait!
