LoL.
Of course, every concert and live set these days includes some pre-recorded bits to make up for personnel or skill onstage in the live setting. But still, considering the subject, this made me smile.

saw this somewhere else as well and the guy from justice responded to the pic saying that the cable had simply come off. The pic was taken before he noticed and plugged it back in.
Stuff happens, if they intended to actually fake it, then why have the cable there in the first place?

BLD used to say that Justice faked their live shows
..and if memory serves me... he even said he saw it first hand.
I will say that :
the majority of their 'hardware' with the blinking lights, etc - that you see on stage during their live shows (not dj sets) is fake. like it's all stuff to fill up the stage.
and their live shows are just like Daft Punk & Kraftwerk where none of the shows differentiate much (if at all) amongst each other

haven't seen daft punk since 4 times around homework's release and each show was pretty different 10 years ago. ok so they played mainly the same tracks, but they did completely different things with them. maybe its different now that they've made their fame/fortune and don't have the same desire they once did to be innovators

yea - I know what you mean
but on their most recent tour... whatever it is/was called, pretty much every night was exactly the same
like the only difference between the Coachella bootleg and the official release from a concert later on in the tour is that the later show had an encore.

I understand it's a show and all, but after a year, the set could've been mixed up a bit since so many people heard Coachella.
Ah well, I'd go see them again still.

Yeah, after how great Daft Punk's Coachella set was I was pretty disappointed to find that the live album was basically the same thing, mixed ever-so slightly different.
Kraftwerk IMO are one of the few bands that can get away with this. I had a blast seeing them even though I wasn't sure if the band was doing anything. After watching the DVD it's clear that they ARE doing some stuff, mostly twiddling of knobs, but hardly a 'performance'.
Justice pretty much sucks anyway, who cares?

I'd still go and see Daft Punk one hundred more times, no matter they pull the same show again and again.
