I was expecting a link to Trentemoller in a scarf, not a bunch of half-nekkid wimminz wearing them. From whence is your ire piqued, little BLD?
Scarves are the "new black" this year, it seems. But as I remember, Trentemoller prolly wears one because it gets bloody cold in Denmark at this time of year :p
Edit: Ahhh - now I get it. This is the Trentemoller collection. Maybe for his cold-necked Danish fans? (Although that woman is gonna catch her death if she goes out like that :D)

i'm not talking about wearing a scarf when it's cold out and you're trying to keep your neck warm. i'm talking about wearing a scarf inside a club / while you're djing and more importantly, starting a designer scarf line ala Trentemoller. extra fuck you points if the scarf is one of those keffiyehs.
Watch your back BLD, Joan Rivers doesn't like competition.

no - they didn't
it was either a member of Tomato or a former member of Tomato that did the clothing. It was called Urban Action. It wasn't directly related to UW... Karl just happened to wear some of the t-shirts sometimes during live shows (and I think there was a link to Urban Action on tomato's old website)
and yea - it is shitty and MAKES NO SENSE that you'd need/want a scarf while you're in a club.
and I mean - come on... he releases ONE album, a few singles & remixes... and now he's releasing scarves???
at least James Lavelle was always about the overall aesthetic as much as the music to begin with (I'm kind of preempting a comparison) ... and let's face it; t-shirts, tennis shoes, and jackets make a lot more sense than scarves in a club atmoshpere
aaaaaand - those scarves are way way way way way overpriced! Even if you ignore the shitty state of the US dollar

I was thinking more Victor Meldrew (http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=v66O-Vqe-6s&feature=related) than Joan Rivers really...
FFS. Fashion is fashion. So everyone is wearing scarves at the moment. So what?!
For over a year I have been going to a lot of minimal techno parties and I have to say, I'm sick of all the posers wearing scarfs, shutter shades, sneakers with all the colors of the rainbow and reflecting laces. And some fucks walk around with a water pistol as well. New rave is old already. Minimal should be left alone for a while because 90% of its releases are shit. The Contact show of the Minus label I've been to was dissapointing as well.

I can't decide if I will go to Contakt @ ILT...
I've played the Heartthrob album a lot and I think it's not that minimal. But the Gaiser one is pure minimal, for sure. Still waiting a lot for the first Magda LP, before M_nus goes bankrupt :D
