...according to Belgian Studio Brussels radio listeners :)
article here (in Dutch): http://www.demorgen.be/dm/nl/1007/Muziek/article/detail/458028/2008/10/20/StuBruluisteraars-verkiezen-Born-Slippy-tot-beste-dancetrack-aller-tijden.dhtml
My attempt to a translation:
Underworld 'Born Slippy (Nuxx)' (1995)
On november 15, Underworld will perform at I love techno one year later than planned.
It will be sweaty in the Red Room, coz when R&K play their biggest hit, the roof will come off.
This tune reaching number one in the Greatest Switch can be called a small miracle,
as it first appeared as a b-side to Born slippy.
No one picked it up, and it did not even appear on the first edition of their breaktrough album, STITI.
Until... it was featured in trainspotting, which became a hit, as well as BS nuxx.
Nuxx is still played a lot in the Boiler room at the pukkelpop festival.
For the stubru listeners, it is the "smells like teen spirit" of dance.
On a side note, Tiga did not choose it as one of his fav dance tunes in a belgian magazine (Knack),
saying "it did not became any prettier over the years" ;)
Still, I look forward hearing it live again, this Friday :D
