So, on the last radio show, Karl mentioned that "You Do Scribble" should be appearing as a download package. I'm hoping that in that pacakage are other unreleased tracks a la the RiverRuns, rather than the obligatory collection of remixes.
If any additional tracks that the boys have played live/on radio but haven't properly released yet, which ones are you most looking forward to?

I am dying to hear TT in full and in good sound quality. To me it sounds pretty much finished. I'd be very surprised if this gem wouldn't find its way on a proper release.
In general I love the direction of the RiverRuns: ambient, experimental music with unusual time signatures, not always 4/4 beat @ 140 bpm... like Pizza for Eggs (their best since STITI in my opinion) or the last third of Oblivion with Bells + Loads of Birds.

im surprised ALAF is winning. isnt everyone nuts for bamboo?

I don't love Bamboo very much, Always Loved a Film is way better IMO...
I just hope that they don't develop ALAF in the wrong direction adding bells and whistles like they did with Globe --> Holding the Moth, for example.

aw man! oh well. Telematic Peel was my top pick. As for Bamboo, I find its one of those tracks that just sounds better live. I'm quite happy with the few that I have courtesy of LHN.

It says "track(s)" ;)

I would really love to be able to buy the Riverrun releases in CD quality. The quieter ambience and detail in some of the tracks (e.g. Wedge) just cries out for something better than MP3.

(Anyone know why only two pages of threads are visible in this forum? It's clear from the front page that there're a lot more, but there doesn't seem to be any way to get to them.)

In the bottom left corner of the screen, there's a drop-down menu that says "Last Month". Change that to "Beginning" and then press the "Show Threads" button.

I poked around the interface for quite a while trying to figure out how to see all threads, but somehow completely missed that setting.

Always loved "Always Loved A Film (Silver Boots)". Ever since that 2006 (I think? 2005?) broadcast in May~ <333 That version is my favorite still.
I got attached to "Toobee" and "020202" as well.
Then again. Anything by Underworld is good in my book.

Yeah, i like that one. The ones I would really like to hear better are the Osaka improvs #1 and 2 from 2005. :)

Osaka improvs #1
That one is called "Simple Distinctive". A studio version of it was available on Tomato's site for a while, but no longer. It was later used as the basis for "Simple Peal (http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forums/showthread.php?t=7360)" which was available on underworldlive.com for a while.

and 2 from 2005. :)
This one is most likely a Pricey tune. Unreleased and unnamed as yet. More commonly called "HMH Untitled-2".

I definitely loved this peace of music, it was very ambient like. IMO they may produce some more of these kind of tracks :)

Yes, that be the one. Played just before the first time To Heal was ever played on the dirty radio show. Been used at a few shows...

come on karl, you told me you wanted to get it out....

and it was showing on the loop in the video entry room,
at the art jam in ny....

i know you want to release it..
especially with the timing with the digital releases
going on..

what do you think?

I'm even less keen on digital video downloads than I am about digital music downloads.

UW showed 110 minutes of Tomato films with UW music at The Oblivion Ball. There was some amazingly beautiful stuff that most people don't even know exist! And I only got to see about 40 minutes of it.

Release it on DVD! Like the LHN releases, this probably wouldn't garner enough interest to release it on the commercial retail level. So do a 2000 copy limited edition run and sell it on the website. Sell it for $30-40. I'd probably buy it at twice that price, but that's just me.

There may be some rights holders issues here that I don't know about that might hang this up, but if it's just Tomato and UW, I'm sure this could be done.

Thanks for straightening me out. I have Simple Distinctive but never put that together (or the now-obvious connection to Simple Peal). As for the other one (HMH Untitled-2) i really like the musical part, pretty sure that's a Smith piece with a very Pricey beat on top. Just the soothing sounds are my favorite part. Thanks!

I was going to say Peach Tree, but I just found out it's lurking on one of the Crocodile singles, soon to be arriving in my mail.

I guess I never spotted it at the beginning of that. It really shone in the Underworld vs. Misterons session last year. All that lovely guitar on top.

Headset!? Think it's called that. The last track on the summer Lemonworld set. With the lyrics 'On the road to San Francisco trying to get some space.....'
A lovely sublime track. Would love to get this on UnderworldLive :)

No, "Headset" is a B-side from the AHDO era (and was played earlier in that show). That last track was "Toobee" (which is listed in this poll).
