I picked up on a post about the Republican Governor of Missouri Press Statement (http://governor.mo.gov/cgi-bin/coranto/viewnews.cgi?id=EkkkVFulkpOzXqGMaj&style=Default+News+Style&tmpl=newsitem) which appears to refer to Obama's Truth Squad enrolling prosecutors and law enforcers to "use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics."
So naturally this made my ears prick up as it would clearly be unconstitutional to use the law to intimidate critics of a campaign. I dug around a little further and found what appears to be the originating blog here (http://stlcofcc.wordpress.com/2008/09/24/obamination-obama-suppoerters-bob-mcculloch-jennifer-joyce-threaten-to-prosecute-people-for-criticizing-obama/), which gives an extremely bad interpretation of what two Missouri Prosecutors, members of the Truth Squad, said in this piece here... Now then. Call me old-fashioned, but I really cannot hear anything in that interview that says they will prosecute, arrest or otherwise intimidate Missourians who slander/libel Obama. All I hear them saying is that they will step up to the plate and refute false statements.
I am pretty sure the shit is going to hit the fan on this one any time now, though.... and counting....
